We did it! We're finally married!
We got married on August 24th, 2009.
The ceremony was much better than I expected ... Not like a typical 'courthouse marriage' at all!
We said our vows and officially 'tied the knot' out in the garden beside the cafeteria. Lot's of photos were taken, and everyone had a great time.
That evening everyone headed on over to the Lark Creek Inn for a wonderful dinner.
Overall, everyone had a splendid time, and Earl and I could not be more happy.

King and his wife, Tabitha, who live in Bangor, are paying $13,000 toward the cost of two bus trips so that members of the 3rd Battalion, 172nd Infantry Unit can travel from Camp Atterbury in Indiana to Maine for Christmas. The soldiers left Maine last week for training at Camp Atterbury. They are scheduled to depart for Afghanistan in January.

"Temperatures cold enough to produce snow took hold overnight greeting residents with everything from a light dusting to measurable powder.
The mercury dipped to 36 degrees early Monday morning."

Snow here is, obviously, pretty rare .. I mean, we get all worked up just when it rains.
So this was very exciting.
